Thank you for your interest in the role of Principal Designate at Bronte Girls’ Academy. I believe that for the right person, this will be a career defining opportunity. Your contribution will be intrinsic in setting the tone for the new school – fostering a culture that sets high expectations of colleagues, while ensuring they have the right tools and professional support to thrive in their own professional development.
Bronte Girls’ Academy is a brand-new free school that will welcome its first pupils in September 2019, the culmination of successful partnership working between Feversham Education Trust, the DfE and the ESFA. We have secured a site for the school in the south of Bradford and work is now well underway on the design of the school. The coming year will be an incredibly exciting and rewarding time as we see the school leap off the page and come to life.
As well as the design and development of the school’s physical environment we are also working hard on establishing the education programme for the school. This will be based on the very latest research and analysis of how pupils learn best, and starting from the ground up presents school leaders and teaching staff with incredibly rewarding professional opportunities. We will provide our pupils with a curriculum that is varied, relevant and helps to improve the life chances for all our learners.
The opening of Bronte Girls’ Academy is an important step in our overall growth ambitions for Feversham Education Trust. The Trust will continue to play a pivotal role in raising educational standards for learners across all age ranges in Bradford, with the ambition to grow to nine schools across the Trust - a mix of Primary, Secondary and Free Schools that enable educational coherence across phases and offer a real choice for parents.
If the opportunity to take on such a varied and dynamic leadership role excites you, and you have the right blend of professional experience and commitment to develop your skills further, I look forward to receiving your application.
